One of London’s most historic taverns, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, is located opposite whose past patrons included the literary figures Oliver Goldsmith, Mark Twain, Alfred Tennyson, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, G.K. Chesterton, P. G.
