John and I would like to express our thanks to you all for looking after our property over recent years until its sale last week. We really appreciate the professional and friendly service you provided.
Our first contact with Hurford Salvi Carr was with Mason several years ago and we were impressed then at his knowledge of the market and his professionalism and were so pleased when he found us a new, suitable tenant before another rival local firm did so. This enabled us to sever links with the other firm who lacked the same degree of professionalism and whose lettings and property management service we had been using. It was always a pleasure to discuss rental renewals with Mason and then Colleen, both of whom guided us appropriately supported by extensive market insight. We would also like to thank the property management division for their help in collecting the rent and the associated administration. The fact that we cannot name individuals (please would you pass this on to those involved) is perhaps testament to the smooth-running of this side of the service.
We had always targeted the Olympics as being the time to start thinking about selling and, when our last tenants decided not to renew for a full year last October, we discussed the situation with Sebastian. Again, his market knowledge was in-depth and we made a decision to sell based on that discussion. The rest is history, as they say, with Kirk finding us a buyer who completed the purchase last Friday. Throughout the period Kirk worked hard for us liaising with the various parties to ensure that the sale went through. He also was very helpful in keeping an eye on the flat whilst it was empty which gave us peace of mind.
