About the Building
Altitude Point was the first residential tower to arrive in the Aldgate East area, the building was designed by Hamilton Architects and completed in 2014. The property, which benefits of one of the best layouts in the building, offers a spacious and bright and spacious open plan reception with direct access to a well-proportioned wrap-around terrace which also allows enough space for a table and chairs. About the Area
Alie Street area hosts contemporary restaurants, cafes, gyms, the acclaimed Curzon Cinema and numerous pubs. Aldgate itself has been recently named ‘the most exciting neighbourhood in Europe to live in’ by the Evening Standard. The area, which has undergone one of the fastest transformations in London, has quickly abandoned its history of dull and dated office buildings that occupied much of the space ten years ago, to become a neighbourhood of vibrant glass buildings, shopping and restaurants surrounded by lush landscaped gardens. Spitalfields market nearby is buzzing every day and even more on the weekends, it has become a must for visitors to London and provides an incredible array of original shops. Tower Hill and St. Katherine’s Docks Marina nearby offer an unrivalled combination of historic sites including the Tower of London/Tower Bridge, and some of the best urban skylines in the world.
There are many exciting places you can access within walking distance of Aldgate, for those who work or study in the City, it is an excellent location just minutes away from the business heart of London. However, one of the reasons why the area has become so popular is its excellent public transport links. There are five underground stations within walking distance (Aldgate, Aldgate East, Tower Hill, Liverpool Street and Whitechapel), two train stations (Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street), one DLR station (Tower Gateway) and numerous bus routes connecting to different London locations, which makes this a five star location for transport.
