LUMIERE LONDON IS BACK FOR 2018

Simeon Nelson, Nick Rothwell and Rob Godman: Cosmoscope – Store Street

Commissioned by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, Lumiere London is an event which takes place all over London later this week. More than 50 world class UK and international artists will illuminate London into a vast nocturnal outdoor exhibition giving new and surprising perspectives on the capital’s boroughs, streets and iconic architecture including Westminster Abbey and the National Theatre. Other key festival areas are King’s Cross, Fitzrovia, the West End, Trafalgar Square to Victoria, South Bank, Waterloo and our very own Store Street, see Cosmoscope above. This will be the capital’s largest arts festival and will run from 18 January until 21 January lifting the spirits of people during the dark winter season. It’s free and open to everyone.

Here’s just a taster of what’s planned for Lumiere London 2018.
