About the Apartment
This contemporary apartment at Lombard Lane is a few moments’ stroll away from the Thames, where you can watch the life of the river float by. There are also some attractive, peaceful parks and gardens in the area. The apartment has been finished to the highest standard, with luxury fixtures and fittings throughout. Satin throws, luminous lighting and soft, neutral colours combine to bring a feeling of warmth and comfort throughout the apartment.
The transport links are great, too. It’s a few minutes’ walk to the City Thameslink railway station to the north east, which provides connections across London and beyond. Blackfriars tube station on the Circle and District lines is also only five minutes’ walk from the apartments.
About the Area
There are world famous, high quality restaurants, serving organic, wild and artisan food around Lombard Lane. Some of these restaurants also supply food to go, or have delicatessens and outlets on the premises; you can choose whether to eat in, or take supplies of these fine ingredients home to your apartment to recreate these delicious dishes. If you’re in the mood for a something simpler try a cream tea, that classic English experience. For later in the day there are lively wine bars, cocktail bars and casinos, comedy nights and cabaret clubs.
Sadler’s Wells Theatre is nearby, and always offers an innovative selection of most styles of contemporary dance. And for a gorgeous example of grandiose Gothic architecture, go and look at London’s Inns of Court, which are right here. They date back to before the 14th century, and the world renowned British legal system evolved right here.
